Cancellation Policy
This policy explains how cancellations, rescheduling, and no-shows are handled for our Abu Dhabi desert safari and dune buggy experiences.
1) General policy
Cancellation and rescheduling terms may vary depending on the selected package and operational partner (camp/operator/buggy provider). This page provides our standard approach.
- All requests should be made via WhatsApp for the fastest response.
- Once pickup routing is arranged, last-minute changes may be limited.
- Peak dates (public holidays, New Year, high season) may have stricter rules.
2) Rescheduling
We try our best to reschedule your booking to another date/time, subject to availability. Rescheduling is usually easier than cancellation.
- Rescheduling is subject to available seats/vehicles and operator capacity.
- Price differences may apply if the new date falls under peak pricing.
- Multiple reschedules may not be possible during high season.
3) Timing rules (recommended standard)
If you want strict “hours-based” rules, use the standard below. You can adjust later if your operator requires.
- 24 hours+ before pickup: reschedule is usually possible (subject to availability).
- Within 24 hours: reschedule may be limited; fees may apply depending on routing and operator rules.
- Same-day changes: not guaranteed, especially for shared tours and buggy bookings.
4) No-shows & late arrival
If guests are not available at the pickup point at the confirmed time, it can disrupt routing and may be treated as a no-show.
- If the driver cannot reach you, the booking may be marked as a no-show.
- Late arrival may shorten the experience duration.
- Some bookings cannot be rebooked once missed (especially buggy slots).
5) Weather & safety cancellations
Desert conditions can change quickly. If weather or safety conditions require cancellation, we will do our best to offer a reschedule or alternative option.
- Rescheduling is the preferred option in weather/safety cases.
- If operations are stopped by authorities or the operator, we follow their guidance.
- Some inclusions may be adjusted for safety (route changes, reduced dune bashing intensity, etc.).
6) Refunds
Refund eligibility depends on payment method and operator terms. Many bookings are confirmed for “pay on day” and therefore do not involve advance refunds.
- Advance payments (if any): refund timing depends on operator approval and bank processing times.
- Card refunds: may take several business days depending on the bank.
- Cash payments: if nothing was paid in advance, refunds are not applicable.
